In the early hours of Saturday, August 24th, 2024, Top of the Hill was devastated by a fire that destroyed everything inside. The physical loss is enormous, but the impact goes beyond just the building. With the store now gone, Damu and Jackie face not only the loss of their income but also the uncertain future of their employees, who are now out of work for an unknown period of time.
