Move More this April!

Move More this April!

by Top of the Hill on April 19, 2023

April is National Move More Month, and we're here to encourage you to get up and get moving! Here at Top of the Hill, we're joining in on the fun and making an effort to get active every day. Watch our video to see how our employees and even our customers are movin' and groovin' while they work and shop.

Getting up and moving every day is important for living a healthy life. Studies show that a sedentary lifestyle can lead to heart disease, obesity, and other health problems. The good news is that most heart disease is considered preventable through exercise and a healthy lifestyle. Just a little bit of activity each day can make a big difference in keeping you healthy and refreshed. And as our video demonstrates, you can add a little movement as you go about your daily routine. Parking just a bit farther from the entrance to our store is just one example of how you can get a few extra steps in as you run errands.

It can be tough to get started, but the key is to find something you enjoy and stick with it.
Whether it's taking a walk in the park, practicing yoga, or dancing around in your living room, every little bit counts towards better health. Get together with friends or take your family on a hike: everything is more enjoyable when you do it together. And the more you move, the easier it becomes to make it a daily habit.

Let's all make an effort to move more this month and beyond. Not only will it benefit our health, but it can also boost our mood, energy levels, and overall sense of well-being. Let's lace up our shoes and get moving. Together, we can all take small steps towards a healthier lifestyle.
